A touch of Irish and the NY Yankees wound it’s way around Erin and Dan’s late October wedding.  The Celtic cross decorated the church programs, menu cards and other elements of design in this beautiful fall wedding.  The grounds at Patriot Hills were gorgeous and popping with fall color.  Tall wheat colored grass with deep grey skies and the last light of the day made for a look that only the end of October light seems to create.  The bridal party and families were freezing after this chilly photo session, but that only seemed to give them more energy to generate some heat out on the dance floor as the party got going and kept going throughout the night.

Threatening rain clouds moved the ceremony inside, but not a drop of rain showed up to stop the photos at Debbie and Rob’s wedding at Patriot Hills Golf Club.  It was wonderful seeing Debbie’s family again after photographing her sister, Betsy’s, wedding 2 years ago.  And Holley decided to pop up from Alabama because she didn’t want to miss this wedding!  We got to spend the day working with the fabulous videographer Jen Cassaro again – truely a great day.  This was truely a partying crowd – the dj got Rob to stand up on a speaker and asked him how much he trusted his friends.  Well, I now have my 1st crowd surfing groom – I still can’t believe Rob did this!

Details, details, details….I just have to write about some of the beautiful and numerous details that Marissa and Shawn put into their West Point wedding.  Marissa’s hand embroidered dress was exquisite – I have never seen another dress like it!  She told me she had been admiring her dress designer, Claire Pettibone for years and always knew she’d wear a dress by her.  Marissa and Shawn had both an indoor and outdoor reception – they used both the ballroom and a tent for dancing and dining, and had beautifully decorated tables scattered throughout the lawn of the Hotel Thayer for thier guests to gather and talk.  The sweetheart table was set out on the lawn by itself, surrounded by flowers and candles.  What a gorgeous wedding!

Katie and Julio had booked me so long ago that it seemed like FOREVER for their wedding day to finally arrive. And it finally did! A spectacular day working alongside one of my favorite videographers, Jen Cassaro. A beautiful interfaith ceremony was held in the garden at the Villa Borghese. I think the guest favors were a huge hit – coffee beans grown on Julio’s family’s coffee farm in Puerto Rico. A very nice touch!
